The Geometry of a Symbiosis

Symbiosis is a modular wall art piece composed of nine distinct panels arranged in a 3 x 3 grid, spanning 90x100 cm. At its core, the work is a geometric interpretation of the avocado, an organic form repeated, transformed, and brought to life through a rhythmic exploration of color, contrast, and balance.

Born at the very intersection of graphic design and leathercraft, the piece reinterprets traditional leatherworking techniques to create a contemporary visual language. By combining structural cowhide leather with the soft texture of pig suede, the composition utilizes meticulous inlay, precise layering, leather marquetry, and saddle-finished edges. The result is a richly tactile, sculptural surface where graphic rigor meets artisanal savoir-faire.
